This auction sells models from the model car collection of motor vehicle pioneer and lover Peter Monteverdi!
His collection consists of more than 10,000 models! He collected mostly 1:43 models, but also has some other varying scales.
The collection varies from different manufacturers, Marques and more. He collected them throughout his career, from the 1950s until the 1990s. 
Most models date from this time period.
This collection was exhibited for more than 40 years in the Monteverdi museum in Basel, Switzerland. 
When you are buying a piece from this collection, you are buying a piece of history!
