These boots are from the Jan Jansen collection. 

Jan Jansen, 'Master of Shoe Design', exhibited his shoes as early as 1966 in the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.  Ever since, his shoes have been showcased in museums all over the world. He celebrated his 50th anniversary in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. He is a professor at the Bunka Academy in Tokyo. 
 
"I think it's fascinating to do things that have never been done before. I follow my intuition, failures are part of the job. I'm just an artist who designs shoes. I don't think commercially."
 
From 13-12-2018 until 20-1-2019: A small exhibition of his body of work of 4,000 shoes in the CODA museum in Apeldoorn.
