The wood has been polished and varnished, in several coats.
All the trims are chromed.

History: 
Riva is a prestigious Italian industry of runabout motor boats, founded in the early 1950’s by the Italian manufacturer Carlo Riva. Riva built his last wooden runabout boat in 1996. 
the model CORSARO was built from 1946 to 1955
