Original pump meant for filling the engine with motor oil in the garage as was common back in the days. 

Magnificent decorative item for the classic car, van, truck, or motorcycle.

The pump comes from an English garage inventory from the 1950s - 1960s. The garage that previously owned this pump was supplied with grease products by Esso as well as Shell, BP and Caltex. This pump is clearly a Shell pump. 

The pump is roughly cleaned of grease and oil and is in good used condition with plenty of patina.

It is 68 centimetres tall and the barrel has a diameter of 32 cm measured at the largest side. The original hose and filling spout are still included and make the pump very complete.

The pump still has a part of the Shell Dentax logo and quite some traces of wear, but that is "part of the history".
