Gorgeous Danish design classic. The Panthella table lamp was designed by Verner Panton for Louis Poulsen. 
This is: 1st model type 23430, with the switch in the stand instead of in the cable. 

This famous Danish vintage desigh lamp is in very good condition despite its age. The transparent part under the lamp shade has never broken, as with many of these models. Furthermore, all the wiring is still original.

Concept:  The fitting disperses a soft and pleasant light. The half-rounded screen makes for a downwards reflection of the light, and is crafted from material that ensure the light is largely dispersed into the room from the surface of the screen.

Information: 
The Louis Poulsen Panthella is fitted with an E27 lamp holder. It is advised to use a bulb of maximally 75 W.  This will get you the highest output from the lamp.  The light of the Louis Poulsen Panthella shines both down, through the half round shade, as around, due to the reflector material. This soft, diffuse light adds to the making of a cosy atmosphere.
