Unique old plant sprayer / nebulizer 

Made in the 1930s in Switzerland by the company Birchmeier & Cie in the village of Kunten. 

This factory was founded in 1876 as tinware factory by the entrepreneurs Egloff and Trost. Having started on a small scale, this illustrious pair was later joined by Johann Baptist and hence the Company Birchmeier & Cie was founded, one of the first producers of nebulisers and (later) pressure washers In 1997, the company left the original Kunten location and moved to Stetten. 

At that time a very pricey tool, made almost entirely of copper, of such lasting quality that this device has been in use until the 90s without any problems. Was carried on the back, the empty weight is more than 7 kg, way before the health and safety legislation... 

Despite all the seizures of copper items during the war, this item survived. 

A super decorative object, has an old patina and appearance, for the home, office or garden. 

It goes without saying that this item has in its lifetime of some 60 years acquired some wear and tear, small dents are part of the deal.
However, the original hose, 2 spray bars and tool as well as the filter screen (damaged) are still included.
Also the leather carry strap is aged, but complete.

Great item for collectors of agricultural articles, copper or a rustic Interior!
