Vintage Trailing log from Stowe Marine Equipment LtD England as new (unused?) still in its original box . Designed for cruising yachts large numbers have been made and sold and are still used nice backup on board can be used to check the gps log .The unit can be mounted in the cockpit or below deck .The manual can be downloaded  from Stowe Marine service, and all spareparts and service can still be obtained from Stowe Marine .Working the log is powered with a 7.5 volt battery the log unit mounted in a suitable place the spinner fin is then trailed overboard and the log switched on  the speed is shown in knots and the the counter shows the nautical miles traveled Wind Speed indicator Amemo type made in west Germany  as new in Original box and packing  made of hard durable hard plastic  has 4 scales Beaufort/KM/N, M,second/MP complete with hard plastic protection cap Solid Brass quartz Clock good glass keeps good time roemen numerals looks good small hair crack in brass flange date 5 april 1978 size dia 150mm face dia100mm height 65mm weight .520kg    Height 20 cm please see the photos   Please see the photos  Trailing log Size Unit is 165mmX100mmX 100mm weight  approx 1.800 Kg
