Beautifully restored Hofner Club 50. 

This lovely guitar from around 1958 is a pre-Selmer Hofner, fully restored.

This guitar comes from the first owner, who unfortunately could not finish his project.

The guitar is original except for the pickguard, the pickup and the tone knob.

The guitar has a very well playable neck, which has been professionally re-fretted. The string height is low and the neck has been straightened. This is without a doubt one of the best playing Hofner there is for sale. Plays and sounds better than a very expensive reissue. The real thing!

The guitar has been lightly repainted on the top, which has been done very nicely. The control plate is original!!! Tailpiece and bridge as well!

These older Club guitars have become known by the Beatles and are the icing on the cake for the Hofner collectors, together with the famous violin bass. This has been restored and plays great. A tone knob has been added! 

The guitar sounds like a thick hollowbody. The original pickups have never been found, and we have therefore added a very nice old Dearmond! These may even be more rare than the Hofner pickups. 

The pickguard is mounted with a single screw for the people who like it more without it, without modifications. Easy to remove.

What you see is what you get, a very cool Club for a very nice price!
