Signed JBK (Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy), carefully handmade by CAMROSE and KROSS COMPANY, one of the iconic legendary Jackie's pearl necklaces. The necklace has ivory-color Czech glass hand-painted pearls strung on silken cords and hand knotted.
The wonderfully decorative rhodium plated round clasp has a simulated sapphire in the center of a ring of SWAROVSKI crystals which sparkle brightly in the light.
It is believed that Jackie inherited it from her mother whose pearl jewelry was designed COCO CHANEL. Chanel believed the clasp should be an integral part of a necklace, and she designed the clasps as a necklace ornament to be shown.
Comes with a light blue velour covered steel-box, along with CAMROSE Certificate of Authenticity.
This exclusive and gorgeous necklace is in excellent condition.
Jackie often wore simulated pearl necklaces and this is one of those who she loved the most.
Length (clasp included) is 54 cm (21.2"). Diameter of Pearls is approx 0.3 inch (0.8 cm). The weight is 46 g.
