All paint cracks and splashes as well as brush strokes and paint details that are part of the artwork are imagined and then created with care by the artist as he paints. Bio: Luc Duarte is a Jazz musician from Portugal, he is a multifaceted artist that, from an early age, found in painting another veicule to express himself. Born in 1985, studied and performed music, for over 20 years. He’s background as a musician, combined with study, and understanding of artistic traditions and techniques, greatly influence his work today, and shaped a unique voice. His large-scale abstract paintings are characterized by, strong, vibrant colors and hidden messages, and were featured in “Drive in Arte” exhibition, at Seixal. Luc Duarte is now releasing simultaneously a new album “Lamentos e outras memórias” on analog format(Vinyl), and a series of portraits on canvas, the two share a dynamic interplay, and are deeply connected.
