This is the only panel I was ever able to collect during my travels through the Upper Sepik area in the 1990s. It is a cool colorful panel that was hung in front of the men's house, forbidden to women and uninitiated boys. Its function was to ward off evil spirits

Αγαπάμε τις τοπικές φυλετικές τέχνες, συλλέξαμε χιλιάδες και χιλιάδες αντικείμενα, όλα αυθεντικά, μερικές φορές παλιά, μερικές φορές πιο πρόσφατα, αλλά κυρίως χρησιμοποιούμενα αντικείμενα σε τοπικές παραδοσιακές κουλτούρες.
