Up for auction a very rare Studer A80 VU in very good conditions.
Two track stereo 15 / 30 ips - (38 - 76cm)
It was previously owned by Ringo Starr and specially designed by Eddy Veale who took technical care of Ringo's Starling Studio at Tittenhurst Park.
A certificate of authenticity is available and comes with the auction. The certificate guarantees the 100% authenticity of the recorder and the 4 dolby units that come with it.
The recorder is fully functional and in very nice condition. The heads are also in a nice condition as you can see in the pictures. All is working and it records and plays well.
Some years ago the recorder has been checked and aligned by Clive Cavan
