This signature table has a distinctive geometric leg shape that is instantly recognizable. It was designed in 1963 by Studio BBPR for the Olivetti Synthesis office furniture range, which has become an icon of Italian design and part of the permanent exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
This version of the 'Arco' desk was originally conceived as a typing desk. It has a dark brown matte leatherette top and black metal legs and height-adjustable hexagonal feet. Great as a compact desk or as a console table.
The table top has some minor marks and scuffs consistent with its age and use. The plastic corners of the table top are in general good condition. One of them has a burn mark on it (see detailed images). The metal legs are in very good condition with minimal wear. The feet show some signs of wear but are fully functional and height adjustable.
The item will be dismantled for shipping and professionally packed. Instructions will be provided for reassembly.
