“Ascendants and Descendants”

It ascends to the sky,
Because it’s part of your lineage
And of Nature*,
It descends” |.

The Artwork
A pink pelican reimagined as the unique and central motif. Through the study of light behavior, the figure seems to have metallic pink glimmers on its body and green and yellow hues on its beak, set against a deep turquoise background.
The Series
This new series aims to evoke old portraits loaded with solemnity and history where fauna reigns supreme.
Each portrait is crafted independently, based on the physiology of real animals, which means each piece involves prior study and analysis, making each one extremely exclusive.
On backgrounds of intense colors, and in a light and harmonious format, each animal possesses a unique and special personality, leaving it up to you to decide its level of ancestry.
Nature: Ascendants and Descendants is a continuation of the Plastic Nature series, where animals are transformed into helium balloons, adopting a new perspective and elevating fauna to an aristocratic category.
All pieces have painted and finished edges, so they can be hung directly on the wall or displayed without a frame.
Materials
The artwork is created using the finest painting materials available, linen, and Liquitex pigments. This ensures the artwork's durability, resistance to the passage of time, and the maintenance of its colors.
Measurements: 46x38x2 cm
Includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity, guaranteeing both the originality of the artwork and the quality of the materials used in its creation.
