Sevillana is a very intriguing expression of the famous Filipino brand Don Papa. Produced on the island of Negros, this limited edition version is inspired by the elegance and liveliness of Seville, the Andalusian capital famous for its oranges and flamenco dances. It is therefore through this design and this warm character that we find the atypical imprint and universe of Don Papa, seducing great rum lovers.

Its manufacturing process makes it a high-quality premium rum. Distilled from black molasses (from locally grown sugar cane), it ages in American Bourbon oak barrels, before undergoing a double finish in Spanish barrels for a period of thirty-six months (Oloroso Sherry casks and Andalusian Naranja wine casks, Seville orange wine).

Its finish has allowed it to develop a refreshing profile, mainly centered on citrus fruits. With a vegetal, almost medicinal nose, we detect delicious aromas of citrus essential oils. After a few moments of aeration, a fruity, acidic and coppery nectar appears, before giving way to a more pastry side of almonds and slightly bitter cherries. On the palate, the rum is soft and fluid, which confirms the citrus fruits and copper, but is accompanied by fresh nuts and mineral notes. The finish is pastry-like, revealing a succulent almond and kirsch cake.
