Supertramp‎–Brother Where You Bound

Brother Where You Bound is the eighth studio album. It was released around 2½ years after the studio album “… famous last words…” in May 1985 and contains the top 10 hit (USA) Cannonball, with Brother Where You Bound taking around 16½ minutes Playing time longest song of the band and four other songs.
The record,which is based on neo-progressive rock,sold very well,especially in Germany / UK and Switzerland.

The epic title track, the 16½-minute, extremely lyrical Brother Where You Bound, is the longest song in the band's history and consists of several parts and has many tempo changes.
Scott Gorham (from Thin Lizzy) plays the rhythm guitar and David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) plays the main guitar.
The song also has excerpts from the novel 1984 (George Orwell), and at one point the melody of the International can be heard in the background.
