Becoming a Trappist requires something special. This masterpiece, brewed by La Trappe, Tynt Meadow and Zundert, pays tribute to the three rules of authenticity that distinguish a Trappist from conventional abbey beer. These rules not only form the basis of their beer, but are also the cornerstone of their existence.

Rule 1 – The product must be produced within the monastery walls of a Trappist abbey or in its immediate vicinity.
Rule 2 – Production is carried out by or under the supervision of the monks.
Rule 3 – Proceeds are intended for the needs of the monastic community, solidarity within the Trappist Order, project development and charities.
Aroma:
Sweet caramel, roasted malt, hints of peated malt, spicy and hoppy.
Taste:
Full-bodied, bittersweet, refined bitterness, notes of roasted malt
