De Porceleyne Fles wall plate, hard to find.

The tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in colours on a black base with flowering plants and sitting on the right a bird of paradise. For the 326th Jubilee of Royal Delft in 1979 the Black Delft was new introduced.
It was based on the “Famille Noire” that was already made in in Delft in the late 17th century. A black base decorated with several colours, so it is called: The wondrous Black of Delft.

Signed on the back in underglaze black for:

DE PORCELEYNE FLES - ROYAL DELFT

DELFT - HOLLAND & CY = 1979

Painter’s initials: GHA = Hagen G.

For the plate, marked as 5274.

Dimension:
Height, 2 cm.
Diameter, 18 cm.

It is in excellent condition, barely used with small signs of wear.

They will be well-packed and sent with trace and track code.
