Magnificent and very rare collection of original pictures of Knoll design furniture, people (Platner, Gae Aulenti) and buildings. Taken for Knoll International as a client.
Photos are taken by different photographers in New York, Detroit, Chicago, Stuttgart, Boston, Brussels, ...

Besides the beautiful vintage photos of the Knoll furniture and showrooms, the collection also includes photos by Platner and Gae Aulenti. Also, a rare photograph of the model of ‘the Seagram Building’ designed by Mies van der Rohe. In addition, the collection also has a unique vintage photo of the Knoll showroom in Boston in 1979.

Most photos are stamped by the photographer. Some with remarks.
Most pictures date from the early 1950's to the 1970s and some are already a bit yellowed on the back. (see photos).
The oldest pictures are taken in 1953 (Chicago)
Pictures are in very good condition on the front.

Picture measurements may vary, but most are approximately 21x25 cm, others approximately 18x35 or less.

This is a rare attic find.
