2018 Grattamacco:
Grattamacco, a winery founded in 1977, is located on the top of the hill overlooking the sea between Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri, 100 meters above sea level, in an area highly suited to the production of great wines. The name of the winery derives from the word "macco" whose Etruscan meaning is "iron": its soils were in fact Etruscan mines and are very rich in minerals. The 12-hectare farm was purchased by Claudio Tipa, already at the helm of Colle Massari, and today represents one of the strong points in Tuscany for the production of Bolgheri. Thanks to the help of the oenologist Luca Marrone and with the consultancy of Maurizio Castelli, Grattamacco demonstrates from year to year the consistent quality of its products, elegant and refined, perfectly representative of their area of origin.
The Grattamacco vineyards are divided into two parts: the historic vineyards to the east of the Via Bolgherese, on the hills bordering the Bolgheri ditch to the north and the Segalari ridge to the south, and the vineyard to the west of the Bolgherese, in front of Magazzino. The first rests on soils of sandstone, clay and limestone-marly rock, with spurred cordon and guyot pruning, the second on clay-loam soils, with sapling pruning. A vast wooded area keeps the vineyards private, partially isolating them from the surrounding viticulture, thus helping to establish a specific and irreproducible microclimate. It is important to underline that all cultivation is carried out in an absolutely organic regime, giving the wines very high quality and respect for the environment.

2018 Campo al mare:
Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari are father and son respectively. With Lombard origins but Tuscan adoption for years, they represent one of the most interesting Italian wine-growing realities. Their main headquarters are located in Greve in Chianti but the company owns vineyards in practically all the most suitable areas of Tuscany. From Bolgheri to Montepulciano, obviously passing through Chianti Classico and Montecucco. 250 hectares managed with passion and competence from which the grapes used to produce some of the most interesting Italian wines come. Bond with the territory but predilection for international taste, many of the wines offered by Tenute Folonari are produced from international vines. An extensive use of French barriques, combined with innovative working techniques, make this company an absolute point of reference.

2022 le volte dell’Ornellaia:
From the best terroirs of Tuscany comes this Toscana Rosso IGT Le Volte dell Ornellaia by Ornellaia. It wonderfully manages to combine the generous and opulent Mediterranean expression, with intense and complex connotations. Soft and structured, but also lively and intact in the fruit, it is subjected to ten months aging in barrique, not the first passage. It proves to be perfectly aligned with the company's excellent quality standards.

Buongiorno grazie.
