Beautiful Wakizashi in koshirae and shirasaya from Muromachi - nanbokucho era. The wakizashi retains a superb polish with an impeccably bright hamon suguha and a spectacular long kissaki (o'kissaki) in addition to its thickness and weight, much higher than most make this piece a great addition to any collection for a
minimum price hard to find elsewhere. The koshirae has a nice memento mori with skull and bones on the menuki in bronze and a fuchi kashira in bronze also with gold leaf and silver. With authentic stingray leather on the samegawa and light brown leather. Elegant saya in black color and tsuba in iron of the 18th century. Includes the shirasaya, the saddle used after combat to keep the blade in good condition. Part of the koshirae is later than the blade, probably changed because the original was in bad condition, which guarantees that the sword is in excellent condition, it also seems to have been polished by an expert recently.

The blade is in old japanese polish remaining in good condition, the jihada of the steel is detailed and full of details to appreciate. A masterpiece Worthly a museum and a great addition to any private collection.
