This plate is a work by one of Japan's leading ceramic artists, Shumei Fujii. Shumei Fujii has been selected for the Nitten Exhibition many times since his first selection in 1937 for "Cold Current". He has won many competitions, including the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition, the Minister of Education Award at the Kyushu Yamaguchi Ceramics Exhibition, and the Japan New Crafts Exhibition Japan New Crafts Award. The technique of using blue and white porcelain to depict the natural scenery of Arita, such as leaves, forests, and mountains, is used to express the mental scenery of Arita through the four seasons.

There are small scratches because it is an antique product. The last image is an enlarged view of the scratched area. There are also water marks that cannot be wiped off. There are no cracks or chips. Please be sure to check the product image as you may be concerned about small scratches that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
