Adorable art deco ceramic aries with pale mother of pearl with pink color glaze, from Margit Izsépy Hungarian ceramist, in very nice condition. Rare and collector's piece. Manufacturing date: 1940s. Dimensions: 16 x 13 x 8 cm. Marked with the artist's sigature on the base. Literature and reproduced: Sandor Fabian: Hugarian art deco ceramics; page 111. The photos are part of the description. Will ship safely packaged and with tracking number. Margit Izsépy makes ceramics from the beginning of the 1940's. She attended the Exhibition of Applied Arts in 1952 which was organized in Ernst Museum in Budapest. In the 1950's she creates ceramics in cooperation with Applied Arts of Ceramics and in her workshop at home. She is known for her African tribe themed sculptures.
