"Janis Joplin In Concert" is a live album by the legendary American rock and blues singer Janis Joplin.
The album was released posthumously and features Joplin in her elemental form while performing with her band Big Brother and the Holding Company in 1969.

Janis Joplin was born on January 19, 1943 in Port Arthur, Texas. She quickly became one of the most influential and charismatic voices in rock and blues of the 1960s. Joplin became known for her powerful and emotional vocal interpretation as well as her unique style and personality.

Big Brother and the Holding Company: During her career, Joplin was a member of various bands, including Big Brother and the Holding Company, with whom she made some of her most well-known recordings.
The band was known for their psychedelic and bluesy sound, which perfectly suited Joplin's voice.

The Janis Joplin In Concert Album: This live album was released in 1972, a year after Janis Joplin's tragic death.
