2 bottles of Quevedo 30 Years old White Port wine
93/100 points - Wine Enthusiast

Colour: Golden amber with with hints of green on the edge
AROMA: Quite a complex and deep nose. Elegant and intense notes of honey, grilled nuts, fresh almonds, crème brulée and macerated raisins.
PALATE: This multilayered white Port starts by displaying its raisins and honey flavours on the entry, followed by a nice and refreshing bitter mid-palate with notes of dry fruits and almonds, the finish is filled with caramel, raisins, crème brulée and lingering spices flavours. Extremely well balanced, a perfect example of team work over 3 generations of Quevedo.

- the Port house of Quevedo
António Abel da Costa started producing wine between 1850 and 1860 in his vineyard in Valongo dos Azetes. His son Raúl Gouveia Costa, born in 1889 continued this and start labelling his wine called Quinta de Santo António. After some economical accident he starts selling his grapes directly to Taylor's. Óscar Quevedo Sr. start his Port production under his own label in 1975 due to the fact that Taylor's that year did not want to buy his grapes. However, Taylor's retuned after some months and bought all his port. In 1983 the family bought Quinta Vale d’Agodinho and is now producing a Single Quinta Port from this vineyard. In 1991 Óscar Sr restored the old family tradition and Quevedo was born as a Port House.
