It is unread, it has no wear to the cover and spine and no wear to pages. Volume II still has some uncut pages. Volume I has a superficial spotting to rhodoid centre right edge, with absolutely no effect on the overall aesthetics (please see detailed photos). It completely maintains the very high standard levels of Collection Bibliothèque de la Pléiade. The protective simple cardboard slipcase shows no shelf wear.
