artist's statement
Color in painting fascinates me because it is a mood-building element. Wherever I am, I pay attention to light, color and this affects my art. I follow my own path and I am convinced that it is the right path. The words of the outstanding painter, Józef Hałas, stuck in my head, which in my opinion reflect the essence of the matter. "(...) Above all, a painter needs sensitivity. It doesn't have to be artistically oriented sensitivity, but in general - sensitivity to the world. Nature is important. There is everything in nature, you just have to discover it. (...)" I think that this is the quintessence of true, valuable art, authentic art, preceded by long reflections, cognitive process, hard work and not calculated only for the effect.
BIO
Albertyna Kacalak-Sicińska graduated with distiction from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw (Poland) (main field of study : Painting) and received her Masters in Fine Arts in 2012.
On 2017 Master of Arts Albertyna received the degree of Doctor of Fine Arts in the discipline of fine arts. She runs therapeutic art sessions, creative work with chlidren and adults. But first and foremost she is a paitner. Her works can be found in private collections in Canada, USA, Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Czech Republic, Norway, Malta, Poland. )
About work:
A modern painting showing an abstract landscape, painted on a canvas with dimensions: 40 x 60 x 2,5 cm (H x W x D).
A painting for fans of mountains and glaciers. The winter weather inspires me to paint this sphere of nature, which is glaciers and sea ice covering the surrounding seas. I am fascinated by the history of the first Himalayan climbers and all eight-thousanders. "My landscapes" series.

The edges are painted black, the painting does not require framing.
*Colors used: titanium white, gold pigment, gilding paste, Prussian blue, black - Kasell earth.

Η Albertyna Kacalak-Sicińska αποφοίτησε με διάκριση από την Ακαδημία Τέχνης και Σχεδίου Eugeniusz Geppert στο Βρότσλαβ (Πολωνία) (κύριος κλάδος σπουδών: Ζωγραφική) και έλαβε το μεταπτυχιακό της στις Καλές Τέχνες το 2012.
Το 2017 Master of Arts Albertyna έλαβε το πτυχίο του Διδάκτωρ Καλών Τεχνών στον κλάδο των καλών τεχνών. Διευθύνει συνεδρίες θεραπευτικής τέχνης, δημιουργική εργασία με παιδιά και ενήλικες. Αλλά πρώτα και κύρια είναι ζωγράφος. Τα έργα της βρίσκονται σε ιδιωτικές συλλογές στον Καναδά, τις ΗΠΑ, την Ευρώπη (Γερμανία, Ελβετία, Αυστρία, Ιταλία, Τσεχία, Νορβηγία, Μάλτα, Πολωνία. )
Το χρώμα στη ζωγραφική με γοητεύει γιατί είναι στοιχείο που χτίζει τη διάθεση. Όπου κι αν βρίσκομαι προσέχω το φως, το χρώμα και αυτό επηρεάζει την τέχνη μου. Ακολουθώ τον δικό μου δρόμο και είμαι πεπεισμένος ότι είναι ο σωστός δρόμος. Τα λόγια του εξαίρετου ζωγράφου, Józef Hałas, καρφώθηκαν στο μυαλό μου, τα οποία κατά τη γνώμη μου αντικατοπτρίζουν την ουσία του θέματος. "(...) Πάνω από όλα, ένας ζωγράφος χρειάζεται ευαισθησία. Δεν χρειάζεται να είναι καλλιτεχνικά προσανατολισμένη ευαισθησία, αλλά γενικά - ευαισθησία στον κόσμο. Η φύση είναι σημαντική. Υπάρχουν τα πάντα στη φύση, απλά πρέπει να την ανακαλύψεις (...)» Νομίζω ότι αυτή είναι η πεμπτουσία της αληθινής, πολύτιμης τέχνης, της αυθεντικής τέχνης, της οποίας προηγούνται μακροχρόνιοι προβληματισμοί, γνωστική διαδικασία, σκληρή δουλειά και δεν υπολογίζεται μόνο για το αποτέλεσμα.
