With twenty six attractive colour plates painted by the author with speaking tissue guards collated complete. In search of material for his professional work, Tyndale travelled to Venice and Tuscany, and in this volume, the painter and travel writer supplies a verbal and visual record of the places he visited. Book in very good to fine condition, inside very clean, no foxing, Externally original beautiful pictorial boards with light stains, shelfwear, light wear around edges and corners, very bright gilt. Very well preserved copy!!! Scarce in this beautiful binding. Rarity.

Tear and significant missing on the inner pages plus unsightly spots p.78. Seem to me not reported and does not justify the "very good condition".

Le livre est un peu usé (moisisses d'humidité) : normal pour ne édition de 1896. le frais d'envoie sont toutefois un peu excessifs.
