Good condition with normal signs of age and use. The Royal and Military Order of San Fernando is the most precious military decoration of the Kingdom of Spain. It was created in 1811 in the Cortes of Cádiz. Its name refers to King Ferdinand III of Castile. It is the highest military reward in Spain and its purpose is to reward heroic bravery, military actions or services, individual or collective, with imminent risk of one's own life and always in the service and benefit of the Homeland. These acts must always be carried out during the course of armed conflicts.
