"Pink Floyd – A Nice Pair" is a double LP compilation by the British rock band Pink Floyd. It was first released in 1973 and consists of the band's first two albums, "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn" (1967) and "A Saucerful of Secrets" (1968).

"A Nice Pair" was originally released by Harvest Records to bring Pink Floyd's early work to a wider audience and to increase interest in the band after their breakthrough albums such as "The Dark Side of the Moon" and "Meddle "to revive.

"The Piper at the Gates of Dawn": The first album in this compilation, "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn," was originally released in 1967 and is Pink Floyd's debut album.
Written primarily by Syd Barrett, the band's original founder and vocalist, it is known for its psychedelic and experimental sound.


"A Saucerful of Secrets": The second album in this compilation, "A Saucerful of Secrets," was released in 1968 and is the first Pink Floyd album after the departure of Syd Barrett.
It already shows the band's transition to a more progressive rock sound and contains longer, experimental pieces.

Cover Artwork: The cover artwork for "A Nice Pair" was designed by Hipgnosis, a renowned design firm responsible for many iconic album covers in rock history. The cover shows two images of women sitting on window ledges and looking down at the street.

"A Nice Pair" received positive reviews and helped revive interest in Pink Floyd's early work.
