This copy is the first impression of the first edition for general circulation printed in 1935. Original Sand-coloured cloth, spine lettered in gilt, upper board with centre gilt motto of double crossed swords ('The sword also means clean-ness and death'). Top page edges gilt. External covers in nice shape, with light faded discoloration. Internally the book is in very good condition indeed (Appears unread as several pages still uncut as it was produced by publisher). No names or inscriptions. Pages are clean, with occasional light foxing on some pages, and page edges. All pages are tightly held at the gutter. Inner hinges are very good.
