Some damp, and staining marks to the rare cover of both volumes; causing the top corner of rare cover of first volume become creased, and broken, and also affecting the top corners of the last few pages of publishers’ catalogue. Internally; both volumes are in good condition. Neat and old name on top first front free endpaper pages of both volumes, dated 1913 and 1914. Pages are generally clean, with foxing to free endpaper pages, and light foxing and spotting marks to some pages and page edges. Slight closed tear to the margin side of folding maps. Inner hinges are very good. All pages are tightly held at gutters. All plates and folding maps are present and in nice condition (Please see pictures).
