1958 Bulova Wrist Alarm

Stainless Steel case, top and bottom access, date stamped L8, dual Bulova signed crowns - top crown winds and sets time / bottom crown sets and activates alarm. Looks to be an original dial, luminous hands and markers, alarm hand with red arrow. Functioning Swiss 11AERC manual wind movement dated L8. Caseback does have a serial number, located to the left of the small rivet holding the interior post that works with the alarm feature.

Quite an interesting watch, a bit more complicated to take apart (& re-assemble) than the usual watch. No Wrist Alarm ads for this one have been found to date, but we already have three late 50s examples in the database and 'Wrist Alarm' is a proper model name as indicated in the '55 and '58 pricelists.

Stainless steel case measures 34 mm without crown. Watch is rarely worn and no sign of use nearly. original dial without restoration. 40.5 mm lug ot lug measure. Both crowns are original with writing BULOVA. Alarm hands and second hands are blue color at 50's. Two color dial doesnt have any sign or deformation. perfect condition watch serviced and oiled by our watchmaker.

There is a big nick on the glass of the watch, right above the date number at the top left corner that the seller managed to hide in the pictures and would have made me not buy it!

this comment is wrong . I took nearly 10 photos from 10 angles if you didn't see it it means that you are blind. how can I hide at 10 angles a scratch. at least one or 2 photos it must be seen. you are not a good buyer. don't buy again please

obvious counterfeit, the paper strap broke immediately, the inside of the watch is in brand new transparent plastic.. watch from the 70s??? 🤬🤬

You are a real joke. You don’t separate difference between genuine leather strap and paper. Difference between acrylic glass and plastic. watch at NOS condition. If don’t understand watches don’t buy
