The Ardbeg Vintage_Y2K is the first bottling in a series of limited millennium whiskies. It was distilled with the old still, which was removed in 2001, and matured for 23 years. The single malt whisky was aged in bourbon and sherry casks from 2000 to 2023. It matured in some of the first casks filled by the Islay distillery in the millennium. After its cask maturation, the distillery bottled it at an alcohol content of 46.0 percent by volume. It did not use any colorants or chill filtration. This means that the Ardbeg Y2K impresses with its unadulterated whisky enjoyment.
