Very old fish( 240 Million Years) as from the Triassic are very rare and are only found in a few places.
This PTERONISCULUS comes from the island of Madagascar. On this site you will find a special modular fossilization.
This fish is found frequently, but the specimen offered here is of very exceptional quality.
Fins, dorsal and ventral spines are rarely preserved in such fossils.
This is the case here and preservation quality is of museum quality.
