Irina Biatturi, winner of the public award and the prestigious President Award at the 2023 Florence Biennale in Italy, acclaimed as the best European artist at World Art Dubai 2024, and an alumna of the Nicolae Grigorescu (Unarte) Academy of Art in Bucharest, has dedicated herself to painting since childhood. Having lived in various countries including Mexico and New Zealand, she now calls Antibes her home and artistic hub. Her captivating oil paintings, which center on the themes of women and sensuality, are deeply influenced by the elegance of Art Deco, the organic forms of Art Nouveau, and the radiant ambiance of the French Riviera, where she has resided for over two decades.
Her canvases exude a sense of peace and tranquility, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the glamorous and enchanting atmosphere of the "Roaring Twenties" on the French Riviera.
Her artworks are now part of numerous private collections and have been featured in galleries, museums, and prestigious art exhibitions.
Additionally, her work has been showcased in publications such as Nice Matin, Vauban Magazine, TOUTMA, La Strada, Maisons et Jardins magazine, COTE Magazin, Univers des Arts, etc…, and for book covers for the critically acclaimed Italian author Serena McLeen.
