A globular-shaped vessel decorated with red lines and footed bottom. The Amorites were a people of Semitic origin, consisting of warlike nomadic tribes who occupied Syria, Canaan and the region west of the Euphrates River from about 2000 BC.

Provenance: Purchased at auction at L.F. maison de ventes, France, April 2024.
