Olympus OM-3 Αντανακλαστική φωτογραφική μηχανή με μονό φακό (TLR)
The camera is in excellent condition. Only The seals of the back and the mirror need to be replaced. The OM-3 is the combination of the mechanics of the OM-1 and the sophisticated exposure system of the OM-4. Like the OM-1, the OM-3 is a fully mechanical camera that works even without batteries. As in the OM-1, the batteries are used to operate the light meter. Here, we find the same light meter that was already tested on the OM-4 with great results. Along with the light meter, the sophisticated 8-point multi-spot system from the OM-4 was also brought over.
This union between pure mechanics and the most advanced light meter ever mounted on an analog camera gave birth to one of the most sought-after analog cameras in the world. The OM-3 was introduced in 1983 and was produced until 1986. With the launch of this camera, Olympus gave life to the most advanced mechanical camera ever made. the serial number matches the one on the box.
Looking at it from above, one immediately gets the impression of holding an OM-4, but upon closer inspection on the left side, the auto/manual selection lever is no longer present. Instead, there is only a button for battery check and a tiny lever that activates the self-timer.
