Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva Bio DOP is a dry red wine made from 100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes. The vineyards are located in the hilly area between Controguerra and Ancarano in the province of Teramo, at 260m above sea level, with a medium-textured, tending soil, cultivated using the spurred cordon method.

For Villa Barcaroli, wine and territory come first, which is why it is a certified organic company, where both the work in the vineyard and in the cellar is 100% natural. And for the past few years it has also been part, together with other companies, of Ciù Ciù Tenimenti Bartolomei: a group set up to express and enhance the commitment and winemaking tradition of the territory.
