RARE OLD HIGHLAND WHISKY
A 1965 vintage distilled in Glen Mhor and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail on February 19th 1997.
The distillery closed in 1983 and the bottles are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
Glen Mhor's stills fell silent in 1983 along with those of the neighboring Glen Albyn distillery. It was in 1980 when Diageo acquired Glens Albyn and Mhor respectively and demolished them both a few years later to make way for a shopping center.
The whiskey distillery was Scotland's first to install a Saladin box, a malting device that had proven to be thoroughly economical for some time.
Very rare whiskey that is almost impossible to find on the market anymore.
