Vintage 1950’s brass perpetual manual flip desk calendar with original ‘Los Angeles California CITY HALL’ sticker.

6 x 5 x 2 cm base, 7 cm tall. In delightful age appropriate, working ( but slightly loose) vintage condition.

Case is 9.5 x 4.5 x 2 cm with the iconic turn of the century relief of the MOFÉM industrial manufacturing plant.

“”The success story began 120 years ago in the territory of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy in 1900.
Through several changes over the decades, it became what many people know today as MOFÉM, and is often referred to as industrial Hungaricum. MOFÉM is not just a Hungarian brand name in the history of assembly production, but a symbol of everything that is called the realization of the human creative desire. A legend that is not only about faucets, but also about the people who create them. In 1900, it was still known as the Hirtenbergi Töltény Gyutacs- and Femärugyár. Apart from ammunition, the factory's first products were the so-called Nuremberg goods, such as various shirt buttons, tie pins, perfume dispensers, buckles, and lighters.

From 1954, the production of civilian consumer goods began. Among other things, the product list included door locks, padlocks, lighters, children's toys, hand drills, coffee grinders, pressing machines, refrigerator showcases, refrigerator compressors, minion and total valves. In the years from 1954 to 1962, the production of various water, steam and gas fittings began, in addition to traditional products.
By merging the plants in Mosonmagyaróvár, Budapest and Esztergom with a center in Mosonmagyaróvár, the base of domestic assembly production was created. From 1963, the factory was called Mosonmagyaróvár Fémserelvénygyár; MOFÉM.””
