I present to your attention a model of the An-225 "Mriya" aircraft - a super-heavy transport aircraft, created in 1988 in the USSR by the Kiev Antonov Design Bureau. Until 2022, the An-225 was the largest and most powerful aircraft in the world. The chief designer is Viktor Tolmachev. The aircraft was created to transport space industry objects, and its important characteristic was the ability to transport super-heavy and oversized cargo both internally and on external suspension.

On February 27, 2022, Russian troops attacked the Gostomel airport (Kyiv region) from the air and permanently interrupted the flight of the "Mriya". This airport was a strategic bridgehead that the occupiers tried their best to capture for a further offensive on Kyiv. Thus, the Russian army destroyed the largest and most powerful transport aircraft in the world, which became a symbol of peace, mutual assistance, and support that countries around the world provided to each other.
