Beautiful okimono pair of carps, masterfully capturing their movement, swimming gracefully through the water, in the beautiful contrast of the gold and black, carefully rendered down to each individual scale, by prominent sculptor and artist Kabuki Shumei (Hideaki).
Started his apprenticeship in Odawara, Sōshu (Sagami Province) at Master Yoshihama Shuaki.

Measurements: 28,7 x 9,1 x 10,9 cm and 24,2 x 6,7 x 8,6 cm
