BUYING DIFFERENT LOTS:
If you buy different lots with smaller bottle quantity it's maybe possible that we can combine the shipping. That`s possible up to a maximum of 12 bottles per shipping box. After a possible combining each shipping box will be charged according to the number of bottles it contains. It´s possible that the real costs for shipping are cheaper than the accumulate shipping costs from the different purchases which you pay to Catawiki. Unfortunately it isn`t possible to combine the shipping costs before you will do the payment. Therefore we make a refund about to much paid shipping cost to you.
If a combined shipping is possible we will inform you about the amount of the refund after your payment has been made to Catawiki. The refund will be done after Catawiki has made the payment to us. This will usually take about 14 days after you made the payment to Catawiki.

MATURED WINE:
Generally to matured wines, old wines and wine rarities:
Wine is a natural product that may undergo changes in taste and color over the course of decades of storage. Therefore, we can not guarantee the drinkability and flawless taste of old aged wines. However, we take the utmost care in buying these wines, convince ourselves of optimal storage conditions, check the history of the bottles as far as possible and also carry out visual inspections of the bottle contents for cloudiness and consistency changes.
As already mentioned, older mature wines change their original taste during the decades of storage and sometimes have a ripe clay. White wines often tend towards a darker color like cognac, sherry or amber and can form tartar, red wines often form a depot on the bottom of the bottle. A different visual and taste experience compared to young wines is not uncommon for mature wines. For wine drinkers who have problems with the partly fresh, pronounced acidity of young wines, matured wines can be a real blessing, as the wine acid loses its power and aggressiveness over the years.
