Technics - SL-D2 - Direktantrieb Automatik Plattenspieler

This Technics SL-D2 Direct Drive turntable is in great and fully functional condition and comes with a brand new needle. It was serviced in December 2024 and looks and sounds wonderful. The Technics SL-D2 features an Auto-return and Auto-stop functionality. This means that the tonearm automatically returns to base at the the end of a record, but can also be returned at any time by simply pushing the stop-button on the frontpanel. The turntable runs very stable and perfectly on speed. The frontpanel pitch wheel allows convenient speed control within a 10% range and the unit can be set to either 33rpm or 45rpm. During service all contacts and moving parts were cleaned and recalibrated. The Direct-drive mechanism is powered by a brushless DC motor with B-FG servo control. The dustcover feels very smooth, looks clear and shows only light signs of use. Both original hinges let the lid stand firmly opened. Included are the original rubber mat, original counter weight and a 7” adapter. Included is also the original EPC-270C moving magnet cartridge with brand new Tonar 757-DS needle. SPECS: Type: automatic turntable Platter: 312mm aluminium alloy Speeds: 33 and 45rpm Motor: B-FG servo controlled Pitch control: 10% Wow and flutter: 0.03% WRMS Rumble: -75dB Tonearm: static balance, tubular Tracking force adjustment: 0 to 2.5g Effective length: 230mm Cartridge: EPC-270C moving magnet Dimensions: 430 x 130 x 375mm Weight: 7 kg The turntable will be very carefully packaged - from a lot of experience in shipping vintage turntables - in a strong box, multiple layers of bubble foam, airbags and other protective materials and with all loose parts carefully secured.
