The set includes #295 (December 1995), which features the story "The Empire-Builder from Calisota" written and illustrated by Don Rosa. The market value of that issue skyrocketed in 2023 after Disney announced its decision to ban the story from future reprints or collections because of "Bombie the Zombie," a character whose appearance, according to the company, has become offensive by today's standards.

The lot includes 93 comic books, all complete with inserts and posters. Classic material by Carl Barks and Don Rosa and many other American and European cartoonists.

They have been stored safely since they were first purchased three decades ago. They have been read no more than a couple of times--never by children.

Conditions range from to Fine to Very Fine or better.
