Engraver, etcher and publisher. He learned the tricks of the trade from his father Harmen Jansz. Muller (q.v.). Later he become an engraver in the Mannerist style under the influence of Hendrick Goltzius (q.v.), with whom he may have studied. Muller worked for Goltzius workshop until about 1589. From 1590 on, the majority of Muller's prints bear his father address. Some prints from the end of his career have his own name of publisher. After the death of his father in 1617 he inherited all his engraved copperplates, artwork and printed papel along with the tools and their appurtances. He continued 'Den Vergulden Passer' workshop with his sister Maritge.
Condition is good. In a passpartout mount. Attached at right hand edge with tape.
