About the Artist
Æ holds a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Design and Multimedia Technologies (Barcelona, 2004) and East Asian Studies. With a deep-rooted interest in digital art from the 1980s, Æ’s aesthetic draws on minimalism, conceptual art, and skateboard graphics. His works are displayed in private collections across 30+ countries, including notable public collections like the Zaragoza Museum’s Oriental Art Collection (2024).
Æ’s art stands out for its minimalist style, using a restrained palette and bold, high-contrast imagery. This approach highlights the tension between light and darkness, hope and despair, creating a haunting atmosphere that explores themes of isolation. His use of simple forms evokes powerful emotions, guiding viewers into a symbolic, timeless world rich with East Asian motifs and iconic imagery.
In a review by art curator Thierry Fournier (Artnoises), he describes Æ’s work as “transgressing boundaries, merging the DNA of past and future civilization, inviting viewers into a timeless emotional experience.” Fournier’s ★★★★★ rating speaks to the impact of Æ’s bold, minimalist vision.
