Monumental Art Deco huge sculpture of a pair of lions, designed by the famous German artist Max Herman Fritz in 1934 for Rosenthal Selb Art Department, in perfect condition.
The sculpture is depicting a large pair of lions striding on rectangular natural base, polychrome hand painted in naturalistic colors to perfection. Extremely rare in this fabulous condition!
Max Hermann Daniel Fritz (1873 - 1948) was a reputed sculptor and medal-designer in Germany, that worked for Rosenthal between 1926 and 1946.
It is in perfect condition, Like New Never Used, impressed marked on the lateral of the base with the artist name MHermFritz, Rosenthal marked, NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of description.
