This new beautyful Meteorite with a low total Mass of only 25,62kg was found by an anonymous Person on a private Field during plowing in the suburb of Borzya Town (Zabaykalskiy kray, Russia) in May 2021.

Specimens: A thick polished Section, endcut of 3740 g and cut slice of 432 g are on deposit in Vernadsky. Main mass are on deposit in DMUH.
Very few Kg are available!

Certificate and Rykerbox inclusive

Petrography: The Meteorite is composed of rounded Olivine Crystals of 0.3 × 1 cm in size surrounded by Fe,Ni mMetal. The Olivine crystals at places are fractured.
Olivine grains are mostly free of Inclusions but some of them contain the oriented Needles of finely intergrowing Chromite and Capyroxene. Occasionally the Olivine grains are crossed by Troilite Veinlets. Metal is composed of zoned Taenite up to 300 x 50 um in size and Plessite islands spaced by Lamellas of low-Ni Fe,Ni phase (Kamacite), up to 200 × 1000 um in size oriented in octahedral directions. The Shreibersite crystals are co-oriented with Fe,Ni phases. Metal contains accessory inclusions of Troilite and Chromite. Fe,Ni hydroxide decorates the contacts of Metal and Olivine. Accessory whitlockite Tetrataenite and awaruite are occurred on the oxidized Metal-olivine interfaces.
Geochemistry: Mineral compositions and geochemistry: Olivine is Fa|2.010.1, Fe/Mn=34.4#3.3, CaO=0.07#0.02 wt.%; Ci203=0.07#0.02 wt.%; N=15; taenite
19-42 wt.% Ni, kamacite 3.7-7.0 wt% Ni; troilite 0.240.04 wt.% Cr (N=6).
Classification: Based on texture and Mineral compositions the Meteorite is classified as main group Pallasite.
Specimens: A thick polished Section, end cut of 3740 g and cut slice of 432 g are on deposit in Vernadsky. Main mass are on deposit in DMUH.
